A young Kick streamer, known as Kizzy, has gained notoriety online after filming himself harassing members of the public.

The 14-year-old first came to most people’s attention after appearing as a guest on the livestream of controversial content creator Ragnesh “N3on” and the pair became involved in an altercation on March 14.

During that altercation, Kizzy threatened N3on and his girlfriend Sam Frank. He said: “Shut the *** up! I’ll beat the *** out of you and your fat girlfriend. That fat ***. I’ll smack in her face, too, ****!”

When N3on hit back by saying he’d dox him and his family, and suggested he didn’t know his name, Kizzy responded: “You’re not doing ***. Shut the *** up, bro. ***** my ***, bro, you’re a ****. You ***ing ***. Kizzy, bro. My name is Kizzy. Kizzy is my name, bruh.”

As a result of the altercation and N3on then threatening Kizzy with sexual assault and doxing, Kizzi’s Kick account was suspended.

However, before that ban he had been streaming on his own channel, harassing members of the public.

One clip showed his fighting random people on the street was uploaded by streamer Jake Lucky, who wrote: “Might be time to raise the streaming age.”

His behaviour has been criticised by popular streamer Charlie “MoistCr1TikaL”, who said: “This young whipper-snapper can’t be older than 11 years old, and he’s already becoming a scourge. He’s trying to do what all of the other public nuisance streamers do, by just being a societal hemorrhoid. He still has his baby teeth! He hasn’t even gotten his adult teeth yet, and he’s already doing this ***… He’s just trying to get that clout through being a piece of ***.”

Now, it’s been reported that Kizzy has had his account banned due to his behaviour.

People have called for him to be banned permanently for his behavior, while others called on the minimum streaming age to be raised.

YouTuber and hairdresser Pyo Ye-rim, known for her accounts of school bullying, took her own life on Tuesday.

She was 27.

According to the police, Pyo was reported to have fallen in the Seongjigok Reservoir in Busanjin District, Busan, at 12:57 p.m.

The police did not know the woman reported to have fallen was Pyo until she was found dead after three hours of search.

Pyo uploaded a video on her YouTube channel earlier the same day in which she said she wants to be “at peace now” as she can “no longer endure all the public shame” she has received since she came forward with her stories.

She also said she hopes the investigation into those who bullied her in school continues.

When the hit Netflix series “The Glory” shed light on school bullying in Korea upon its release in 2022, Pyo became known as she shared her experience of being a school bullying victim, similar to the cases depicted in the show.

However, many questioned whether her stories were true, saying she had no evidence.

Pyo worked closely with victims of school violence, advocating for the elimination of the statute of limitations for crimes related to school violence.

Pyo was taken to a hospital in April after an apparent suicide attempt.

Months after a long-in-coming face reveal that finally showed his mug to the rest of the world, big-name Minecraft YouTuber Clayton “Dream” Huff has put the mask back on following a seemingly never-ending pile-on of folks making disparaging remarks about his appearance.

Dream is a prominent content creator in the Minecraft community. Having started uploading to YouTube in July 2014, Dream went on to accrue some 31 million subscribers on Google’s video-sharing platform due in large part to his Minecraft shenanigans and speedruns. While he’s no stranger to public spotlights, particularly around a video series he admitted to cheating in, he found himself as the internet’s main character again in October 2022 after pulling down the egg-white-colored smiley mask that had been his signature look for years. This is the internet, though, where folks are emboldened behind anonymity. As such, internet losers used the chance to bully the streamer.

The interior ministers of Germany’s federal states are examining whether to introduce a separate criminal offence for cyberbullying.

The proposal is included in a draft resolution ahead of a meeting of interior ministers in the city of Potsdam near Berlin from Wednesday to Friday.

“Cyberbullying is a growing phenomenon that has so far been underestimated, although it has serious consequences for victims in many areas of life,” said Michael Stübgen, the interior minister of the eastern state of Brandenburg.

He submitted the motion to the conference, which he currently chairs. Justice ministers would have to examine the proposal first.

Stübgen said several months ago that while cyberbullying often affects women and children, hostility and threats against municipal officials and elected representatives had also increased at an alarming rate.

The newspaper Der Spiegel wrote that the Federal Ministry of Justice believes the current criminal law already allows for cyberbullying to be punished “in a way that is appropriate to the offence and culpability.”

However, the possible need for change was being examined “with regard to the requirements of the EU Directive on combating violence against women and domestic violence.”

The Pleasantville Community School District has made changes to their policies and rules related to bullying and student discipline.

In March, a committee made up of Pleasantville staff and parents was formed to review the district’s policies and rules, and several meetings were held between March and May. In advance of the 2024-2025 school year, the district shared 15 commitments and updates that were made as a result of the committee discussions. Pleasantville Superintendent Tony Aylsworth says that the biggest change to the policies and rules will be more staff and administrative training for when and if a case of bullying is brought to them.

“So all staff that work here at the school, certified staff, will go through an online training around best practices and working with students and supporting students and families through bullying type concerns. So, that’s first and foremost. Our administrators are also doing some new training strands, so we’re trying to get everybody trained on the process to lead and follow through on a bullying investigation. And so, that might not seem like a complicated matter, but they can become very complicated. And so, just making sure that we’re lined up between our procedural guidelines and best practices with the way our principles, our counselors, and all our teachers support kids this way.”

Harassment

Perhaps the most typical form of cyberbullying, this includes sending negative or threatening messages with the intention to cause fear or hurt the emotional state of another. 

Filming without Consent 

A more serious form of cyberbullying includes filming people without their consent and posting it online which can be very embarrassing and painful for the victims.  

Faking as Someone Else 

This is making a fake profile to pose as someone else, and using it to post material with the intention of ruining someone’s reputation, getting them in trouble or putting them in danger. 

Some forms of cyberbullying such as sharing private photos of someone or stealing someone’s identity can come with legal consequences. 

Social Media And Teens

Teenagers are one of the largest groups affected by social media. They tend to spend a large amount of time on apps like Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, and Twitter. 

For teens, the digital world is a part of their norm. In an extremely technologically connected world, it’s more difficult for a teen to just close their computer screen or phone and forget about cyber bullies as some parents may suggest.
